We're continuing something fun we began last month by sharing some of the activity pages in our book. Today's activity will help your baby see exactly what she is ready to look at right now. Your two-month-old can only see certain things well, and only up to a certain distance away. Use that knowledge to help her enjoy the visual world around her. The Developmental Milestones in our book are based on what your baby is ready to learn right now, which is determined by what you have observed your baby doing.
For example, your baby is ready for the activities in Moving Head and Body - Milestone 2 as soon as he demonstrates the abilities for Milestone 1, which are - Lifts head briefly while on stomach
- Moves arms in jerky thrusting motions
In fact, it is observing these Milestone 1 abilities that tells you your baby is ready for Milestone 2. A... Continue reading...
